Like a car needs fuel and maintenance, your body needs proper exercise and nutrition plan to function optimally. Exercise and food are two main ingredients for maintaining health and fitness. Walking is one of the best exercises. A 30-minute or 1 hour brisk walk on daily basis not only keeps your body in shape but also keeps your blood pressure within normal limits and improves heart functioning.

Regular exercise and adhering to healthy nutrition are inter-related. If you are doing exercise but not eating right, you will have health issues. Similarly, if you are eating right but are not doing proper workout, health problems are likely to arise. So, in order to stay fit, you have to understand the connection between nutrition and exercise.

Health issues may arise in both cases i.e. if you are having too much of any nutrient or you are having less than required. Vegetables are useful as they contain a lot of fiber, minerals and vitamins that are best for maintaining health and fitness. Being naturally low in calories and fats, vegetables are really helpful in maintaining healthy weight while giving required nutritional value. Adequate consumption of vegetables like Spinach, Cauliflower, and Carrots etc. is really useful for the body.


An egg is a rich source of protein, vitamins, selenium, zinc, copper and lot of other important nutrients. It contains all 8 kinds of amino acids that our body needs for proper functioning. Eggs play an important role in maintaining healthy hair and nails.


Fluids like water and pure juices are really important for our body. Our body is composed of 60% water. Fluids keep us hydrated and active. Fruit juices are rich in vitamins and minerals that gives us instant energy boost to lead a healthy and happy life. All our body functions such as digestion, circulation, maintenance of body temperature and transportation of nutrients is done through fluids.
